3sixteen Hosts Blue Blooded Pre-Launch Party in NYC And You’re Invited

blue-blooded book

Wednesday, May 11 at 6pm. Save The Date!

I know the good people at Self Edge “like to find any reason to drink.” They’ve been saying so in their annual “Let’s Drink” promo for the past five years!

Since I too like to have a beer or three, co-owner of the New York branch, Andrew Chen (who’s also one of the guys behind 3sixteen) was the first person I hit up when I started planning my upcoming visit to the Big Apple.

The reason for drinking didn’t need much brain activity either. I’m debuting as a published author this summer with the book Blue Blooded (which you can read more about here), and both Self Edge and 3sixteen are featured in the book. Andrew quickly suggested that 3sixteen host a pre-launch party in the Orchard street Self Edge store on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. It was a no-brainer, really. All we needed then was to decide on a date.

Agreeing that we generally don’t drink enough in the middle of the week, we chose Wednesday, May 11 for the event. Quite conveniently, this is also the opening day of the Kingpins NYC fabric trade show, which means other denim people (who probably also like a drink) will be in town. The stars are really lining up.

What, When Where? The Details of the Party

It’s quite simple really: if you’re in New York on May 11, show up at the Self Edge store at 6pm to have a beer, talk some denim and be one of the first to preview my upcoming book. I know I’m looking forward to it.

Beers Before Bedtime

  • What: Meet one of the authors of Blue Blooded, flip through the book and pre-order it, have a beer and enjoy some good times with other denim people
  • When: Wednesday, May 11 at 6pm
  • Where: Self Edge NY, 157 Orchard St, NY 10002

Don’t Forgot to RSVP!

If you plan to show up, please RSVP to the Facebook event here so Andrew and his team can prepare accordingly.
